CEC: Voting proceedings for second round of presidential elections
The Central Election Commission informs about the voting arrangements for round II of the election of the President of Moldova on November 13th, 2016.
The documents concerning the new place of residence submitted to the relevant local authorities are valid for round II of voting.
However, the applications for voting by mobile ballot box can be made only till 18.00 of November 12th, 2016. On Election Day, requests may be submitted in writing form until 15.00 only with the medical certificate.
Only people with visual disabilities may submit applications for voting outside the polling station. People will vote outside the polling station, established by the electoral precinct on the request.
The Applications for home voting for the first round are not valid for the second round of voting.
The people who can not vote on election day on their place of residence can request a voting certificate. The document is issued based on the identity document and certifies the residence of the person.The certificate allows voters to vote in any polling station in the country.
