Romanian Ambassador in Chisinau: Romania will cooperate with Moldova, no matter who becomes President

Romania will further cooperate with our country, no matter who will become president of Moldova. The statement was made by the Romanian Ambassador to Chisinau, Daniel Ionita, in an interview with Agerpres.
The diplomat said that Moldova is a strategic priority for Romania and it needs to follow the European Integration. According to Ionita, the first round of presidential elections on Sunday, October 30th, was a test of democratic maturity for Moldova. The diplomat said that the election process met all standards and all democratic norms.
The ambassador said that he was impressed how quickly the Central Election Commission published the results of the ballot and the transparency that it showed.
