The National Accreditation Center of the Republic of Moldova MOLDAC became a member of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF), by signing the Memorandum of Understanding with it, as well as the signatory of the Multilateral Recognition Agreement IAF MLA.
The importance of this achievement lies in the fact that the accreditation certificates issued by MOLDAC are equivalent and provide the same level of trust as those issued by the national accreditation bodies of all EU Member States. This is also reflected in MOLDAC accredited certification bodies, whose certificates of conformity are now recognized globally.
According to the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, the MOLDAC National Accreditation Center, which is a member of the IAF, will make a decisive contribution to the growth of the economy by removing technical barriers to trade and facilitating the export of domestic products and services.
MOLDAC is a unique national accreditation body and aims to implement state policy in the field of accreditation and conformity assessment, confident in the technical competence, impartiality and integrity of accredited conformity assessment bodies, as well as promoting the free movement of products, increasing the competitiveness of products and services, protection of consumers' rights and interests, ensuring the protection of life, health and safety of persons and the environment.
