Handmade Christmas tree toys have been exhibited at a charity fair for the children staying the Oncological Institute from Chisinau. It’s an idea of a group of mothers whose children are diagnosed with leukemia and they want to help other families in impasse.
The mothers set up an NGO in 2015 and now they organize their first fair. The initiative have been supported by tens of handicraftsmen, who promised to yield 10% of their sales.
About 25 children with leukemia stay now at the Oncological Institute, as specialists say the disease has affected more and more children lately.
