A child of one year and eight months has been hospitalized after falling from the third floor window. The incident happened Saturday, February 25th, in the center of the capital.

According to police, the little one has climbed onto the bed, then on the ledge, then lost his balance and fell.

The baby was left in the care of the three older brothers, while the mother went to the store, and the father was at work. The boy is hospitalized in the intensive care of "Valentin Ignatenco" Hospital. Doctors say the baby's life is out of danger.

Capital Police opened an investigation and will notify the Municipal Department for Child Rights Protection.
