Children will also have the chance to enjoy the International Marathon from Chisinau. A day before the the event, a race for children, called "Kids Run Day", will be organized.

Children ranging between the age of 5 to 12, will be able to participate to the 200 meter run. Already, around 400 kids were registered for participation.

"The young generation will come prepared. A month before the big day, we offer free training with professional instructors. This year, the winners will be awarded with special prizes. It will be a copy of the medal given to the winner of the Marathon, but with childish features" the organizer, Aliona Curalova, said.

Children, along with their parents, have already begun training for "Kids Run Day". Ecaterina Corolenco is one of the mothers that registered her daughter to the race. The preparations are in full swing.

"We will participate this year for the first time. It is a good way to test our own strength. More than that, the child will be able to participate in a mass event and show everybody what he's capable of. Such event develop the competition spirit among children" mother, Ecaterina Corolenco, confirmed.

"Kids Run Day" will take place in the Great Assembly Square in the Capital on the 30th of September. The following day, the International Marathon from Chisinau will take place. Those who wish to participate can register at 5 different distance run, but the most awaited one is for: 42 km and 195 m.

Publika TV is the media partner of the event and will broadcast live the marathon on a big screen in the General Assembly Square from Chisinau.
