The Chisinau Arena project is discussed at Fabrika talk show on Publika TV. Chiril Gaburici, the minister of Economy and Infrastructure is today's guest of the talk show. 

The guests will discuss about the importance of this project and its role in our country.

Igor Șarov: I think that we moved really fast. I think that such arenas are necessary in our country. The way we acted was a good one.

Chiril Gaburici: First of all, we should mention that for already 10 years we don't have a Republican Stadium. Each year, our sportsmen require an arena where they can play. The Arena is not only for sports, it will also host other events. From an economic point of view, I support this project, because it will attract the foreigners here. The arena will have international standards. 

To build the Arena we need between 10 and 15 ha of land. We had a visit that targeted to check if we have enough money to implement the project.

 Igor Șarov, about Eurovision: Definitely, this Arena will be able to host the Eurovision Song Contest. Also, there will appear new job and many tourists will visit our country. So, people from all over the world will know Moldova.

 Chiril Gaburici: In 2010, Azerbaijan won the Eurovision. They have built a hall within nine months. Today, this hall is used for many other events. As soon as some have experience in this sphere, it is right to have some requests. We are about to finish establishing all the tasks in a couple of weeks. There will be an open tender and the participants will be both companies from Moldova and from abroad.

Igor Șarov: We are talking about a  4.000 - 4.100 places arena with an Olympic pool, eight tennis courts and parking places. When the arena will be built, we will be able to organize many international events. When we will have a 4 000 places Arena, the tickets will be cheaper.

Chiril Gaburici: In one of the discussions with the sportsmen, the boys ranked on the first places, but they said they don't have a place to evolve the trainings. 

Chiril Gaburici: What about the title, I would like to leave it like it is, Chisinau Arena, it sounds good.

Igor Șarov: The multi functional Arena will offer us a lot of possibilities, such as a healthy way of life, to offer the sportsmen the opportunity to realize their dream and to succeed in what they do.

Chiril Gaburici: It can reach a price of 50 million USD, but it depends on the efforts and negotiations.

We want to make all the people use our services, this means jobs and economy. When we will start to build the Arena, the changes will occur, as we will make new job places in Stauceni. We should be more attractive for foreign tourists and to start developing our country step by step. The tourists should understand that we are hospitable.

The costs may reach 40 million USD, it depends on the negotiations. 

The arena will work 12 months, for organizing many events.

Igor Sarov: I think that this project will succeed. I wish the Arena was built till August. This is the main target of the Government. 

Chiril Gaburici: We work really fast to fulfill this project and this thing could be seen.
