Chiril Gaburici verified repair and construction of national road M3
Minister of Economy and Infrastructure, Chiril Gaburici have verified the repair and construction of national road M3, Porumbrei-Cimișlia sectors and Comrat bypass road with a total length of 37.27 km.
The works are conducted by ONUR Taahhut Tasimacilik Insaat Ticaret Ve Sanayi A.S. in Turkey, costing 59.4 million euros.
Chiril Gaburici discussed with the representatives of ONUR about the work plan for 2019, the possible risks during execution process and actions necessary to respect works.
"We expect responsibility and professionalism of entrepreneurs in achieving qualitative construction projects sections. These are important roads of country. I appreciate that ONUR's administration will employ 95% workers and specialists from Moldova,"said Chiril Gaburici.
Representatives of ONUR Taahhut Tasimacilik Insaat Ticaret Ve Sanayi A.S. stated the work would take 36 months and 12 months for the fault notification period.
"We're experienced to guarantee the Moldovan citizens quality and efficiency in the work execution. We're glad that we can contribute to modernize road infrastructure in Republic of Moldova", said Ihsan Cetinceviz, vice president of the company.
Publika.md reminds you that the State Road Administration signed two contracts for the construction of some sectors of the national road M3 Porumbrei - Cimislia and the bypass of Comrat.
Following the international procurement, both contracts were awarded to ONUR Taahhut Tasimacilik Insaat Ticaret Ve Sanayi A.S. from Turkey.
Contracts are part of the Road Sector Program, with the financial support of the European Investment Bank.
