Former PLDM deputy, Chiril Lucinschi received a 5 years and 6 months sentence. The politician will following serve his time in a medium security prison. The decision was taken today by Chisinau Court.

Still, Lucinschi will only be send to prison after the final decision. Until then, he is forbidden from leaving the country.
Judges have also decided upon asset forfeiture. Former PLDM deputy will therefor remain without 1/2 of two lands and a house from Chisinau, including 23.000 Euro seized during searches.
PUBLIKA.MD reminds that Chiril Lucinschi was detained in May 2017 being suspected in the case of bank fraud and money laundering.
He risks up to ten years in prison.
