The central market in Chisinau will be closed indefinitely, Chisinau Mayor Ion Ceban announced on his Facebook page. 

Some of the measures to prevent the virus from spreading: 

- promote information on big LED screens, small panels, at public transport stations, on the Internet and on TV. 

- stricter control in public and private transport, playgrounds, sports, public places regarding disinfection.

- motivate online payment, online shopping, home delivery. 

- limit social services in institutions
