Chisinau dressed for a celebration. Music, Dances and Traditional Food for City Day
The capital has dressed for a feast. The Great National Assembly Square has become an attraction for the inhabitants of the capital, who are celebrating the city's dedication today. From traditional food, popular music and handicraft fairs, all were organized to mark the birthday of Chisinau.
The program began with flower depositions at the monument of Stephen the Great, followed by the liturgy at the Metropolitan Cathedral.
After the job, people stayed in the market to enjoy the feast:
"Very nice, very good. -Here's the extraordinary flesh. -Do you have pickles? -Yes, from home".
"Bakings, we'll cook the fruiting, the small, the sausages, the barbecue, all of it".
"I feel great, I came with my family and the children to celebrate the day of the beloved city."
The inhabitants of the city, as well as tourists, wished to Chisinau for many years:
"From Bucharest and Galati we are. It builds a lot and I can tell you that the infrastructure is good".
"We want health, happiness and joy for everyone".
"Here I grew up, here I got the first experiences in life. Here I fell in love for the first time".
An unusual playmate was the decoration that takes us to Christmas or Easter. It's not a joke, it's the idea of an economic agent who wanted to promote his products.
"It is exposed as a monster that we can do." "We are producing trees, more history." Everyone asks why it is now that we are explaining that it is just a monster for potential customers", said Tudor Unco, economic agent.
"He tried to do something positive, I guess." "Do not you think it's too early?" "It's like preparing to say that", said a man.
"When I saw it, I was very surprised that what this tree should be, but, please, I think that's how it should be beautiful", said a woman.
The evening will culminate with a concert. On stage will be artists such as Zinaida Julea, Adriana Ochisanu, soprano Mariana Bulicanu and sisters Osoianu. This year's surprise is the Romanian interpreter Connect-R.
They will miss the fireworks. Interim Mayor, Ruslan Codreanu, announced that the decision was taken as a sign of solidarity with the victims of the explosion last week.
