An important stage in modernizing the main air gate of the country, carried out by Avia Invest – the company managing the Chişinău International Airport, is refurbishing the landing track.
The track is being expanded, as all the construction works are carried out so as not to disturb the good functioning of the airport.
The reconstruction project is implemented by the Moldovan company Exfactor-grup in cooperation with the German company Strabag Grup, renowned internationally. In its experience of 150 years, Strabag Grup has carried out over 200 projects of this kind.
When the works are done, the Airport will be able to service all the types of aircraft; 21 planes per hour.
