Great National Assembly Square in Chisinau will host marathon event to raise awareness and information about the consequences of human trafficking on 10 June.

From 10:00 to 15:00, they participate in organized activities, but also learn about trafficking in human beings, its consequences and how to participate in combating this phenomenon.

5 km Marathon 

The start of the marathon will be at 12:00. From the Arc de Triomphe we reach Ismail street, then turn back on Stefan cel Mare boulevard - to Toma Ciorbă Street.

The finishing line will also be at the Arc de Triomphe.

Marathon participants will have free access to drinking water. Likewise, each runner will receive a t-shirt.

The little town of the children

A range of educational and fun activities will be organized in the small town of children by the Science Entertainment Laboratory, Mendelevium and the Children's Educational Center, Ingenium.

In the program of the town:

• competitions with prizes
• creative workshops
• gallery of outdoor drawings
• funny experiments
• characters and cartoon heroes.

Exhibition area

In the exhibition area you will have the opportunity to know closely the devices and means of transport used by the subdivisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova.

You will admire the Border Police ATVs, mobile patrol equipment and also the forensic technique, mobile prevention and information center in the field of road safety.

NGO area

More than 10 organizations working in the field of combating the phenomenon of trafficking in human beings, as well as in supporting the victims, will present their activity. You will have the opportunity to inform yourself how to prevent this phenomenon. You will also find the stunning stories of the victims of human trafficking.

Food zone

After you run 5 km, you will be able to rest and regain your strength. 

About Public Transport Circulation on June 10th

During the 5 km marathon, which starts at 12:00, the public transport circulation on Stefan cel Mare Boulevard, in the Ismail and Toma Ciorba streets, will be stopped. Public transport will be redirected to adjacent streets. And between 13:30 and 19:00, the traffic on the Bănelescu Bodoni - Alexandr Pushkin streets will be suspended.

Participation in the event is free of charge.
