The Christmas Fair was inaugurated in Cricova yesterday.

Decorating the town is a tradition for already 20 years.

"We want to give the next generation this tradition, so they will continue it. The tree is artificial. We keep it from year to year. Saint Nicolai holiday has a double meaning for us, as we celebrate the town's day too", mentioned Valentin Gutan, the mayor of Cricova.

The Christmas tree is 12 meters high. The children liked it very much.

"-Do you have such a tree home? -It is not that big."

"It is very beautiful."

Santa Claus was a little bit late. Children were inpatient.

"I want a car with remote control."

"I want a speaker to listen to music."

Children said poems and sang songs.

The adults want snow and happiness on this holiday.

According to Cricova authorities, 18 thousand lei have been allocated this year for the street lightening.
