Citizens can now submit complaints or petitions to ANSA through Viber
Citizens displeased by the quality of purchased products will be able to leave their complaints in boxes places in stores. National Agency for Food Safety (ANSA) will also accept petitions through Viber, on the phone number 067 675 544.
According to director of ANSA, Gheorghe Gaberi, since the beginning of 2018, the agency received monthly around 100 complaints from consumers who considered that their rights were not respected in terms of product quality.
"We decided to come up with new methods allowing people to submit their complaints and be in permanent contact with us. Starting today citizens will be able to contact us through Viber and sent their petitions" ANSA director, Gheorghe Gaberi said.
The boxes will be installed in stores by the end of the week. Each box will be monitored by an inspector, while all complaints will be examined within 30 days.
Petitions must be submitted with a receipt or other proof of the suspicious product. Otherwise, the complaint will not be examined.
