The Civil Aviation Authority recommends national airline operators avoid Iraqi and Iranian airspace. The decision comes as a result of Iranian missile attacks against US forces in Iraq.

National air carriers are being warned to assess the affected areas and to take the necessary measures to avoid the danger to civil aviation.

Also, in order to anticipate crisis situations, the Civil Aviation Authority is to issue a provision asking national air operators to increase the level of control, technical status and airworthiness of aircraft with engines similar to the Iran collapsed plane.
