CNA prosecutors and officers learn from FBI how to fight against illegalities
A work shop organized at the FBI initiative and the USA's Embassy to Chisinau support takes place at the National Anti-Corruption Center. During 30 days, the CNA officers and the anti-corruption prosecutors will learn from the american special services, techniques of investigation the bank frauds, corruption, financial frauds and money stealing actions.
Viorel Chetraru, the director of CNA was present at the workshop opening too. He appreciated FBI's initiative to transmit their own experience to the Moldovan officers. He mentioned that the Federal Bureau of Investigation always manifested interest according to CNA and its prosecutors.
Also, Chetraru thanked the USA's Embassy for this experience.
''It is a good opportunity for my colleagues to benefit from your experience in fraud and corruption investigations. We are convinced that we will learn many useful skills from the FBI specialists'', said the director of CNA.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Embassy of the USA cooperate for a long period with the CNA from Chisinau.
In spring, a Memorandum of agreement was signed between CNA and FBI. The documents provide the cooperation between services from the information exchange sphere and the information that refers to the prevention of the crime incomes, the terrorism funding and so on.
