Constitutional Court declared Russian loan unconstitutional

The loan agreement of 200 million euros from the Russians was declared unconstitutional. The decision of the Constitutional Court was pronounced after more than 10 hours of debates and follows three motions filed by PRO MOLDOVA, PAS and PPDA. The decision is final and cannot be appealed.
"The agreement between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of the Russian Federation on the granting of a state financial loan to the Republic of Moldova is declared unconstitutional. This decision is final, it cannot be appealed, it enters into force on the date of its adoption," said Domnica Manole, president of the Constitutional Court.
