President Igor Dodon had the right to nominate a candidate for the position of prime minister if Parliament President and Parliament governing bodies were elected, according to the final decision of Constitutional Court. 

"President of the Republic of Moldova may not nominate a candidate for the post of prime minister with the lack of Parliament's governing bodies", quoted the decision of Court President Mihai Poalelungi.
