Convenience Store Explosion in Capital: 2 people dead and 2 injured
Two men passed away, while a third one was injured after an explosion took place in the Capital. The tragedy happened at the entrance of a convenience store, located at the intersection of Alexei Mateevici and Armenească street.
According to the police, a man got into a fight with the saleswoman, after she refused to allow him to take 10 cigarette packs for free. At the store's entrance, an unknown object fell from the man, causing the explosion.

"From our understanding the man was thrown out by the store's security guard and then he exploded."
Prosecutors claim that another four people were located in the store at the time, luckily none of them were injured.
"We begun investigating based on article 145, voluntary manslaughter" chief of Chisinau Prosecutor's Office, Roman Eremciuc said.
Another man, who managed to survive, claim to have been a few steps away from the explosion.
"I purchased some bread and was on my way home. I live not far and then heard a powerful explosion."
People who work nearby claim that the strong sound scared them.
"I was passing by and heard the explosion, thought it was my tire. I exited the car and saw the convenience store. I approached it and saw two people on the ground, but I cannot say if they were dead or not."
"We heard a loud noise and are now waiting for the funeral services to arrive. Everyone exited the building to see what happened."
Boris Busuioc, 62, was near the store at the time of the explosion. The man was taken to the hospital, suffering from shock and injuries.
"What happened? I was walking and then there was this loud noise. Everything hurts, I do not feel well. I was not in the store, I was outside" Boris Busuioc said.
"He could have been better, there are splinters covering his chest, multiple wounds, we are checking him at the moment" spokesman from Emergency Hospital, Petru Castaveţ said.
Police managed to discover the identity of the man who triggered the explosion. The suspect was not on good terms with his family, after a divorce and was previously convicted for drugs possession and fined for drunk driving.
"The man who caused the explosion was a citizen of Chisinau, born in 1968. The person was previously tried multiple times" Alexandru Pânzari declared.
The man's neighbor claims that he left the house two days ago, after multiple fights in the family. The woman confessed that the man used to drink and was not employed. He left behind a mourning widow and 18-year-old daughter.
"Those are awful news, I cannot believe it. He did not cheated, but left because he could no longer share a house with his wife. He sometimes hit her. I do not understand where he could possibly gain a grenade from. Horrible news!"
The identity of the second victim was not yet established.
In a post on Facebook, Minister of Internal Affairs, Alexandru Jizdan requested chief of General Police Inspectorate to strengthen control over people with previous convictions, on illegal weapon possession.
