Cooperation Moldova and North Carolina of America discussed at Foreign Ministry
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Lilian Darii, met today with the delegate from North Carolina State Secretary, United States of America, member of the Republic of Moldova - North Carolina Bilateral Relations Committee, Lora Sinigur, who is paying a working visit to Chisinau.
The sides intended to boost good cooperation between two countries by further implementing the Memorandum of Principles and Procedures signed between the parties.
Another intention to hold a joint meeting in North Carolina, United States was also greatly welcomed in the near future.
For this purpose, multiple proposals are being considered to achieve the common exchange of experience and activities in various fields.
The Partnership between the Republic of Moldova and the North Carolina of America was launched in 1995 through experience exchange between the military and was expanded in 1999 to several areas of mutual interest.
So far, many specialists, representing various sectors of activity, civil servants and officials, have visited the state of North Carolina for the purpose of professional development and a useful exchange of experience.
