A 34-year-old man and his 19-year-old lover were arrested on suspicion of theft.

Law enforcement were alerted by a 49-year-old man who reported of being robbed on I. Pelivan street, from Buiucani sector of the Capital. The victim was physically harassed and had his cell phone and 7 000 lei stolen, causing a total damage of 10 000 lei.

It was established that the suspect, along with his lover, planned the theft. The young woman has approached the victim and made introductions, then, while on the way home, the the man was attacked and robbed.

The suspect was arrested for 30 days, while is lover is being investigated. Both risk to spend the next 5 to 7 years behind bars.
