Moldova reports 102 new cases of coronavirus infection within 24 hours, Minister of Health Viorica Dumbrăveanu announced after the meeting of the Single Command Center for managing the COVID-19 pandemic on April 12. 

The total number of confirmed cases reaches 1662.

Chisinau: 27 cases

Transnistria: 18 cases

Glodeni: 14 cases

Falesti: 12 cases

Orhei: 5 cases

Comrat, Edineț, Taraclia, Ialoveni: 3 cases 

Cahul, Sângerei and Ștefan Vodă: 2 cases

Strășeni, Balti, Cantemir, Dochia, Ocnița, Leova, Rezina and Ungheni: 1 case 

Prime Minister Ion Chicu mentioned that no new cases of infection were registered in 15 districts including Soroca.
