COVID-19 in schools: 13 institutions quarantined and 265 students tested positive

13 schools in Moldova have been placed in quarantine after students or teachers fell ill with COVID-19. The information was announced by the Minister of Education, Igor Sharov, during the government meeting.
We have 305 classes closed in quarantine, 265 students tested positive and 6334 students in self-isolation. There are also 368 positively confirmed teachers and 382 isolated ones.
Schools and kindergartens across Moldova resumed operations on September 1, after being closed for half a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Employees must wear protective masks, and compliance with the social distance of at least 1.5 meters is mandatory for both adults and children
