Crashed SMURD chopper. Emergency help for dead physician's and nurse's families
The Government of Romania approved on Wednesday, the offering of emergency help of 85,000 Romanian lei (423,300 moldovan lei) for the family of physician Mihaela Dumea and the family of nurse Gabriel Sandu, dead June 2, in the crashing of SMURD chopper in Moldova.
According to a Government statement, the total amount of 170,000 Romanian lei (846,000 Moldovan lei) is taken from the budget of the Ministry of Labor, Family, Social Protection and Elderly People for 2016, and the payment will be done by the Agency for payments and social inspection of Iasi district.
A SMURD chopper has crashed on June 2 in the Cantemir district, Haragis village, in the Republic of Moldova, in the accident the four members of the crew have died: physician Mihaela Dumea, nurse Gabriel Sandu, commander Doru Gavril, and copilot Voicu Socae.
PUBLIKA.MD reminds that the Government of Moldova has decided to grant 1 million leu to the victims’ families. Also the president of Romania, Klaus Iohannis, and the president of Moldova, Nicolae Timofti, have decorated post-mortem the four SMURD employees.
