Moldovan Cabinet sets third week of August as 'Diaspora Days'
The Diaspora Days will be celebrated in the Republic of Moldova on the 3rd week in August annually. A draft bill in this regard has been approved today at the Executive’s sitting.
This decision will make the communication between the Government and the Diaspora more effective, encouraging the Diaspora associations and the civil society to promote common actions, which will develop this country.
According to the project, the Diaspora Days are going to be organized nationwide, under the aegis of the Government.
Also, the Ordinary Congress of Diaspora is going to be summoned once every two years during these days.
The State Chancellery is bearing the organizational costs of the Diaspora Days.
