Criminal group detained by SIS for drug trafficking
Three foreigners, members of a criminal group specialized in packaging and distribution of narcotic substances were detained following a joint operation conducted by the Prosecutor's Office jointly with Information and Security Service.
Centre Court issued an arrest warrants for a period of 30 days.
Drugs, weapons, preparation tools were found after searches were conducted at the homes of detained persons.
The research was carried out in connection with a criminal investigation on illegal selling of drugs, initiated under reasonable suspicion of the criminal offense by foreign citizens.
Investigations continue. However, the law enforcement requires the active involvement of civil society to identify the manifestations of extremist and terrorist activity in Moldova.
