Cristina Lesnic: Negotiations between Chisinau and Tiraspol brought forth results
The latest negotiations between Chisinau and Tiraspol brought forth results, among which counts the agreement allowing cars registered in Transnistrea to travel abroad. The declarations were made by Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Cristina Lesnic, on last evening's Fabrika.
"The dynamic is improving, both in terms of the working group and activities taken by political representatives from Chisinau and Tiraspol. Only since the beginning of the year there have been 20-25 meetings on auto transport" Cristina Lesnic declared.
Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration also declared that the four terms requested of Chisinau within Berlin + format are being implemented.
"Chisinau always wished to insist on the rights schools have. We speak of the eight schools from Transnistrea that teach in Latin alphabet. We speak of free movement" Cristina Lesnic announced.
The official also claims the the negotiations were solely possible due to the elimination of political interest and concentration upon citizens' welfare.
"We speak of the people who live on both banks of Dniester, to create beneficial conditions for them and improve their standard of living" Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration explained.
A new round of 5+2 format negotiations might take place in May, in Italy. The announcement was made at Chisinau, by special representative of the OSCE presidency for the process of resolving the conflict in Transnistria, Franco Frattini.
