Vitalie Burlacu and Irina Baglai are found guilty in the MP's file on corruption. It is the decision of the Supreme Court of Justice, which upheld the decision of the magistrates of the Chisinau Court of Appeal in April 2017. Last year, Baglai was sentenced to eight years in jail. Former policeman Vitalie Burlacu was also placed after bars for 11 years and four months.

The first information on the attempted corrupting of the elected people appeared in public space in February 2014 when PDM deputy Valentina Stratan and liberal-democrat Iurie Chiorescu said that some people have proposed money to leave their factions and join a new formation. During Burlac and Baglai's detention, 250,000 dollars were found on them. Then, on a woman's bank account, another 500,000 dollars were discovered.
