General Director of the Customs Service Vitalie Vrabie paid a visit to the southern bureau of the agency to assess the functionality of the new institution.

Vitalie Vrabie demanded the strict observance of the laws and procedures in doing one’s job, mentioning that the management of the Customs Service won’t allow flaws and abuses.

"The customs may function only with an integral and professional team. We’ll continue promoting these compulsory criteria to make sure that the career advancements take place on meritocracy principles," he said.

The Customs chief instructed his subalterns to prepare the refurbishment of their offices.
