Customs Service and ANSA monitors border in order to not allow new hotbeds of swine fever

The Customs Service and ANSA continues the monitoring of situation at border-crossing points in order to prevent the appearance of new hotbed of African swine fever on the territory of Moldova.
The intensification of control measures was required by the administration of Customs Service on 25 October 2016, being imposed of the increase of contamination cases in the northern part of Moldova.
Thus, as a result of the carried control actions, in the period 25 October-30 November 2016 were recorded 114 cases of pork meat products (processed and fresh meat), and the detained quantity in the period of reference is approximately 312 kg.
