Customs Service facilities discussed at meeting with businessmen from south of country
The Customs Office authorities from Cahul town discussed with several economic agents and customs brokers that are operating in the southern region of the country.
The meeting was held on the occasion of the meeting of the Consultative Committee of the Customs Office that aims to promote the dialogue between the Customs Office and the facilitation of international trade.
During the meeting, participants were informed about the new amendments to the legal framework aimed at ensuring the transparency in the clearance process.
The new declaration of customs value has been discussed at the meeting. It provides a number of simplifications, including: the obligation to submit the customs value transactions that do not exceed 5,000 euros, reducing the costs of transport stationing and the opportunity to deliver the goods to destination, avoiding delays in customs clearance.
The new regulations for customs procedures, and additional information about issuing certificates of agricultural export procedures wholly obtained in Moldova have been also discussed at the meeting.
