Daniel Ionita is new ambassador of Romania to Moldova
Romania will serve as model of European integration for Moldova, and the bilateral relations between the two states will speed up the reforms. This is the opinion of the new ambassador of Romania in Moldova, who will start from today his mandate. Daniel Ionita has hope on the support of Romanian authorities and on cooperation from the Chisinau part.
Daniel Ionita claims that Moldova is a strategic priority in the external action of Romania.
“The fundamental principles of my mandate are continuity, consolidation, perseverance, and diversification of bilateral relations. I am starting full of optimism and hope” said Ionita.
The new ambassador of Romania to Moldova says that our country has to regain its position as the most advanced eastern partner in the relations with EU. He also affirms that during his mandate, Romania will continue to implement many investment projects in Moldova.
Daniel Ionita has 20 years of experience in the Romanian Ministry of External Affairs. He was ambassador of Romania to Norway, and in the period of 2006-2010 worked in the NATO division of Ministry of External Affairs in Bucharest
