Daytime car theft in just seconds in Făleşti district of Moldova

A 25-year-old man living in the village of Sărata Nouă, Făleşti district, was arrested, suspected of having stolen a car.
According to the Police, the owner of the car, a resident of the village of Piatra Albă, Ialoveni district, parked his car in front of his court. He left key inside car for a few minutes while the suspect got in and drove the car. Soon the suspect arrived by car in front of electricity pillar in Ialoveni, then left the car and ran away.
The suspect was localized and detained later.
If found guilty, the suspect may face a fine of up to 65,000 lei or imprisonment of up to 3 years.
