On December 20, 2017, SOFT made the second call for proposals of the Joint Operational Program Romania-Republic of Moldova 2014-2020, with the application deadline being May 7, 2018.

Due to numerous submitted complaints from potential applicants regarding the technical problems of the electronic application system, the deadline was extended by 24 hours, being now open to May 8.
