Decree regarding Parliament dissolution has been published on Official Gazette
The decree to dissolve the 10th Parliament signed by Interim President of Republic of Moldova Pavel Filip has been published on Official Gazette on Monday.
"According to the document published on Gazette: Considering that the Parliament failed to form a new Government, in accordance with constitutional procedure and the time limit established by actual legislature, taking note of Constitutional Court Decision no.1 on June 9, according to law stipulating the circumstances which justify the functions of Moldovan Interim President, taking note of Constitutional Court Decision no. 2 on June 9 regarding circumstances to justify the Parliament dissolution, under art. 51 paragraph 3, art. 85 paragraph 1 and art. 91 of Moldovan Constitution, art. 83 paragraph 3 of Electoral Code, Interim President of Moldova decrees: Art.1 - Parliament of 10th Legislature dissolves on June 9, 2019. Art. 2 - Snap elections are planned to take place on September 6, 2019.
This decree comes into force on June 9, 2019".
