The head of the Directorate-General for Public Transport and Communications of Chisinau Municipality, Adrian Boldurescu, who submitted a request for resignation last week is suspected of forging his bachelor diploma. 

Sources who requested anonymity declared for Vocea Basarabiei that the former director's Diploma de Licenţă is not authentic, a fact confirmed by the Technical University of Moldova, institution that was supposed to issue the document.

According to UTM, Boldurescu was enrolled in 2000 at the Faculty of Urbanism and Architecture, the specialty "Environmental engineering and management", but a year later he was expelled for his class absence. 

Adrian Boldurescu has not yet commented on the information.
