Diplomatic Institute created to open new opportunities for Moldovan representation in specialized international forums
Moldova will create Diplomatic Institute to prove highly qualified staff with both the diplomatic service and other central public administration authorities. Furthermore, it will open new opportunities for representation of the Republic of Moldova in specialized international forums. The statement was made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi, at today's Government meeting, which approved the decision to create the Diplomatic Institute.
According to Minister Tudor Ulianovschi, the Diplomatic Institute aims to provide training courses for Moldovan and foreign diplomats as well as for government officials and experts in the associative and private sector.
"These courses will provide all the requirements of modern diplomacy and will use the best practices of diplomats around the world. The training program will focus on interactive and practical sessions with diplomatic trainers from the MFAEI and abroad, university professors and qualified experts, offering the benefit of a wide range of opinions and approaches ", emphasized the head of Moldovan diplomacy.
Training programs will include courses in priority areas, including diplomatic and consular law, international relations theory and practice, international and European law, European integration, economic and business diplomacy, digital diplomacy, language learning, etc.
The attributions and the functional structure of the institution will be laid down in the Regulation of the Institute, which will be approved by the Government. It will be managed by a director appointed and revoked by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.
