Dispute amid former colleagues of protests. Dolganiuc accused PAS-PPDA against Unionism
Independent candidate on the 30th constituency of the Capital, Valentin Dolganiuc, accuses the PAS-PPDA bloc that it never had union views and always hampered the promotion of national identity. The statement was made during the electoral debates at a private television station.
In the show, Valentin Dolganiuc mentioned that he did not find any point in the PAS-PPDA election program on the reunification of Romanian territories. Moreover, he accused his former colleagues in the Dignity and Truth Platform for banishing him for promoting unionism during street protests that failed three years ago.
"A children's choir sand the hymn "Awake, Romanian" on stage of Grand National Assembly. For anthem "Wake up Romanian" everybody blamed me: Andrei Năstase, Slusari, Josan and the rest who were there", said Valentin Dolganiuc, candidate on constituency no. 30.
Valentin Dolganiuc said he tries to gather all unionist beliefs. According to the candidate, the people who were chanting during the slogans for unification storms resisted the most.
He reminds PPDA leader Andrei Năstase of the summer statements on a Russian television station when he denied that he would like to join Romania.
- You say about Dodon and other politicians that they are perverse. But you are told to be pro-Romania politician and you will join Romania if you come to power?
- Wrong! You have to know that I love my country.
Valentin Dolganiuc is one of the founders of the Dignity and Truth Platform and close person to Andrei Năstase.
He would have left the party because the unionist message was blamed by the PPDA leaders.
