Document fraud: Inspector from Public Service Agency's Call Center investigated by PA and CNA
An Inspector from the Public Service Agency's Call Center, providing information and document support, claimed 200 euros from a citizen to help him illegally obtain identity papers.
Now, the Call Center employee is being investigated by the PA and the CNA. A criminal case was issued on his name.
According to the case, the inspector would have asked for the money to influence other persons responsible for issuing passports to release the document, even if the applicant was being investigated in several criminal cases and had no right to carry out identity papers.
If found guilty, the inspector risks a 2 to 6 year of jail or a fine of 150,000 to 200,000 lei.
