Dodon confirms Russian Defense Minister Shoygu's initiative of collaboration agreement
President Igor Dodon confirms that Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu wanted a collaboration agreement for three years with Moldovan Defense Ministry but hopes to discuss with Government the subject.
He already talked with PM Maia Sandu the organization of the Russian Defense Minister's official visit to Moldova, Dodon said.
"Russian Minister Shoygu proposed this idea. We said that this topic would be tabled with government. I discussed with PM Sandu the official visit of Mr Shoygu because this one was not", said President Dodon.
Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu wants to sign urgently a three-year collaboration agreement between Moldova - Russia Defense Ministry, announced the press service of Russian Defense Ministry.
According to the spokeswomen of Moldovan Defense Ministry Ala Diaconu, Shoygu didn't discuss such agreement in Chisinau.
Russian Minister Shoygu paid a visit to Moldova at the invitation of President Dodon on August 24. Presidency didn't offer many details about the organization of this visit and hid information upon the Russian delegation.
