Dorin Chirtoacă returned to Moldova after attending funeral of late King Michael I of Romania
Suspended Mayor of Chișinău, Dorin Chirtoacă, has returned today the traveling permit he received from the court, to attend the funeral of late King Michael I of Romania. The information was confirmed for our Television channel by prosecutor Dumitru Robu.
According to him, Dorin Chirtoacă came this morning to return the Moldovan and Romanian passport.
The court has allowed last week the suspended Mayor to leave the country between 13 and 17 December.
King Michael I of Romania was buried at Curtea de Argeș, on 16th December.
Four years ago, the suspended mayor was decorated by the Romanian Royal House with the Romanian Crown in Knight title. Chirtoaca received the decoration from Margareta Queen.
