A 29-year-old driver from Bălți was caught by patrol officers transporting 500 liters of alcohol without certificates of origin.

The man was pulled over this night in Căușeni city, officers having noticed multiple containers in the car's interior. When asked what was in the jerrycans, the man confessed that it was alcohol, but he lacked the necessary documents.

The man was taken to the inspectorate and now risks a fine from 3 000 to 4 500 lei.
