Patrol National Inspectorate (PNI) has published a video urging drivers to remove tinted car window which reduces visibility.
According to PNI, visibility might be reduced due to this window at the nighttime and drivers can't observe others on the road such as pedestrians or bicyclists.
In order to prevent road accidents, PNI has carried out permanent actions to inform this problem. Otherwise, fine should be issued ranging from 600 lei - 1200 lei and three penalty points.
Patrol inspectors notified over 2700 drivers with tinted window car. In the first three months of 2019, around 500 drivers were documented, 50% more than the same period of 2018.
