One of the coronavirus-infected patients is in critical condition, is intubated and given artificial respiration, Minister Viorica Dumbrăveanu announced. 

"Moldova confirms 23 cases of COVID-19 infection. The first child-infected case was diagnosed in an 8-year-old. 

A patient is in critical condition. Doctors's doing their best to save the patient's life", said the health minister. 

The minister called on people who have contacts with persons returning from abroad to stay at home, especially the elderly.
