The Moldovan stores will be obliged to observe a 50-per-cent ratio of Moldovan food products on shelves.
The question is about dairy, eggs, meats, canned food and vegetables.
The Economy Ministry thus aims at developing the domestic trade and stimulating the Moldovan producers.
"We come up with clearer regulations and with a helping hand to small producers. One should guarantee 50-per-cent presence on the shelf. It’s likely to be a sufficient tool to stimulate the local producers, a guarantee they do have a market," Economy Minister Octavian Calmic said.
