The New Life campaign started by Vlad Plahotniuc’s Edelweiss Foundation goes on bringing joys to fresh moms. Other 40 mothers from the biggest maternity in Moldova have received newborn kits today. They were glad to say they needed the kits a lot.

Every box contains necessary things for newborns in the first months: a mat, a cover, diapers, unguents and pacifiers. The gesture has come as a surprise for the moms.

Lidia Cucoş, a project manager with the Edelweiss Foundation says more surprises are to come: "About 1,000 mothers have received newborn kits since the project started. We’re very glad we can help them and offer these kits to nurse the babies.”
