Educational institutions from north of the country are visited daily by patrol officers
The employees of the INP's North Patrol Regiment carry out road education lessons in the north of the country throughout this month.
The children from dozens of schools attended such hours, in which not only the students, but also their teachers and parents are trained; because the safety of the children in the street depends on the education and information provided both at school and at home.
Patrol inspectors talked to them about the traffic rules to follow in the street, the road signs they should necessarily know, the colors of the traffic light and their significance, how to react when approached by strangers, where they have the right to play, how important it is to ensure when they are on scooters or bicycles.
The students received informative leaflets with the generic 'Be careful at the crossing', but also reflective news, in order to be more visible on the route. The police officers have kindly answered any questions from the students, teachers and parents and urged them to take into account the recommendations of the people of the law, in order to be safe and secure.
The respective activities were organized by the patrol officers, in cooperation with the colleagues from the Union of Drivers from the north of the country and those from the Police Inspectorates. Because we all have a common purpose: streets without victims, safety on the road, healthy children, calm parents and whole families.
