Eight families from Ceadir-Lunga must change their houses, because their risk to crash, because of the landslides.
A group of experts warned the local authorities about the danger. The deputy mayor of the city says that to evacuate the people, there are required two million lei and the City Hall doesn't have those money.
The periodicity of the landslides from Ceadir-Lunga obliged the local authorities to invite a geologist group from Chisinau to make an expertise of the soil. Those examined two streets.
The specialists found out the majority of the causes can be swallowed and the only solution to avoid the danger is to evacuate the people from this zone.
Varvara Sainciuc says it is very hard to leave her house, where she lived a half of a century. Anyway, the woman is convinced she wants to leave, because the rifts are increase day by day.
"I am afraid the ceiling will fall. Do you see the rift?", said Varvara Sainciuc, resident of Ceadir Lunga town.
The houses of other residents are not in a better condition:
"The road near our house it's moving, I am afraid we can remain without a roof over our heads."
To buy new houses, the authorities need two million lei.
"The City Hall decided to make an expertise. In November, a geologist team went to make an expertise. The results were presented in this month. Those presented many solutions and one of those was to evacuate the people from the zone", said Ivan Cuntov, the deputy director of Ceadir-Lunga town.
The mayor of the town says he informed the Exceptional Situations Service from Comrat about the danger and they hope they will receive an aid and the problem will be solved.
