EU Council's conclusions stimulate our reforms in European pathway of Moldova - Vlad Plahotniuc
The conclusions made by the EU Council encourage us to further the reforms undertaken in the European pathway of Moldova. Democratic Leader Vlad Plahotniuc has reaffirmed his commitment to Moldovan citizens after these conclusions and ensured foreign partners a serious and realistic interlocutors in Chisinau.
The EU Council has published today the conclusions on the Republic of Moldova which reconfirms its commitment to strengthening political association and economic integration between the EU and Moldova by working in close partnership on the basis of the Association Agreement that entered into force in July 2016.
Moreover, the European Union remains committed to supporting progress in reforms which are needed to reap the benefits of the Association Agreement, including the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area, to the citizens of the Republic of Moldova.
In this context, PDM President, Vlad Plahotniuc has written on his Facebook page that "The conclusions of the Council of the European Union encourage us to continue, as a team of the Democratic Party, the reforms we have undertaken in the European path of the country.
We remain strongly committed to the needs of the people of the Republic of Moldova and we assure our international partners that they have serious and realistic interlocutors in Chisinau. I personally welcome the European Union's commitment to the Republic of Moldova and the constant interest in our country's development, reconfirmed today by officials in Brussels".
